Well let me tell you, it is Tennis ! Can you believe there is a 24 hour channel totally dedicated to the game of Tennis. The Tennis Channel is an American digital cable television channel with programming devoted to the game of tennis. Founded in 2003, the network is owned by a group of investors including sports marking firm IMG. Well known tennis professionals Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi are two of the many investors in this channel. The network's CEO is Ken Solomon. It broadcasts out of Union City, New Jersey.

Tennis Channel in July announced a wide-ranging, multi-year deal that in 2008 gives the network telecast rights to Wimbledon, the oldest of the sport’s four “Grand Slams,” the most prestigious events in tennis, and the third of these to be covered by the channel.

Tennis Channel will produce all matches it covers at Wimbledon, utilizing the network’s own on-air talent at the tournament grounds.

The Tennis Channel has extensive coverage of the Davis Cup, Fed Cup and Hopman Cup as well as other tournaments throughout the year. The Tennis Channel gained the U.S. broadcast rights to the French Open and first broadcasted same in 2007.

According to the latest news, concerns about tennis gambling have prompted representatives from the world's major professional tennis associations to schedule a meeting in London on Friday to discuss ways to avoid match-fixing.
