Can I try for modelling....

Hello Friends, I am new to this forum....I wanna be a good actor and also wanna do some modelling...Can I be a model?...My height is 175 cms....I am thin now but soon gonna join gym and get bulky....Plz tell me...I am a software engineer fresher....Should I try for my dreams...things I like...or just do a software engineer job....I wanna know that if my looks are not good for industry..and I am never gonna make it big in modelling/acting....I am in delhi...plz tell me.....as U are all experienced...and it will help me..I am very much confused cause this is deciding phase of my life...I am 21 yrs old....
